Up for bids is for a fine example of the iconic Honda NSX by AUTOart. This is 2003 JGTC (Japan Grand Touring Car Championship) racing version Test Car #0 in white with black matte roof. This has been out of print for a while now and is the much sought after color scheme/livery out there. Model is diecast metal with plastic parts. Sealed body version (no opening parts) but rollable wheels and steering. Car is mint in original box. Only taken out to take detailed pics for this listing. Box is in good shape with slight signs of shelf wear. Car will be packaged carefully before shipping. Please feel free to ask all questions before bidding. 5.5 inch 2002 Honda NSX Type-R J-Spec 1/32 Scale Diecast Model – Jada – White
The 2002 Honda NSX Type-R model by Jada measures about 5.5 inches long by about 2.25 inches wide by about 1.5 inches high. It has very nice details such as separate clear plastic headlights, taillights, grill, turn signals, etc. The coloring is done in a glossy finish with accurate markings and branding. The wheels are free rolling and made of rubber. Moreover the back wheels have pull back action, which means that it will wind up when you pull it back and it will roll if you let it go. The rolling motion is very smooth so be mindful of where you display it (or chuck the wheels). The doors can open revealing nice interior details such as accurate seats, steering wheel, and instrument panel. The Honda NSX, marketed in North America as the Acura NSX, is a two-seater, rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car manufactured by Honda.The origins of the NSX trace back to 1984, with the HP-X (Honda Pininfarina eXperimental) concept, for a 3.0 L (180 cu in) V6 rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car. Honda, with the intention of meeting or exceeding the performance of the then V8 engine Ferrari range, committed to the project, aiming at both reliability and a lower price. The concept evolved and had its name changed to NS-X, which stood for “New”, “Sportscar” “eXperimental”, although the production model was launched as the NSX.
